Give-away watch, forgivable design but unforgiveable inaccuracy, oh que barbaridad

This watch was just a give-away from an item that I bought online sometime ago and it was this item that attracted me to buy the original item that I intend to buy because I have no physical clock that I can look into to tell me the time without looking at my basic phone or my smartphone, so all I have to do is too look at it and I can be able to learn the time at that particular moment.
But upon using the digital watch I learned that it is as inaccurate as heck because of the time difference it makes after a week of using it. I know that it is just a cheap digital clock but what I am surprised was its inaccuracy considering that it is digital and the technology that it uses is relatively simple but still it has this quality that should justify for it to be thrown in the trash bin because it is not doing what it is supposed to do.
Years later I saw that my father bought a similar one and now I do not see him wearing it now. I guess that my father also realized that he bought a junk item and I can just guess how much he bought it for, but basically he bought a trash item and upon seeing his watch I didn't say something because the deal is already done and we couldn't do anything anymore about it.
The lesson here is about the "If it sounds to good to be true, it surely is" and lesson learned about buying items online. If an item is so cheap relative to its real price, or if an item is also cheap and comes with some freebies or deals, we should be cautious about buying that item because good quality item always comes with a high price. Buying cheap items also comes with a price which is both your money and the item is wasted.
So with this watch, I am still using it to know the general time where the real time should be at. If I see this watch's time I know that I am still a bit early for what I will do. So in a way I just use this watch to know that the real time is a bit earlier. However my Mother would also refer to the time of this inaccurate watch to prep me up earlier than I should prior to my schedule for my dialysis and it always annoys me because she always rushes me to head to the car already considering that it is still so early to go.

I had many of cheap watches but the time was always right just the extras never functioned which was annoying (also the high amount of batteries or inability to recharge. I had expensive clocks too but they never worked well. The worst are the alarm clocks. I don't mind if a bit ahead but if I didn't set the time twice per day the clock added every 12 hours about one hour.
I no longer use a clock I have a clock built inside, it works wonder well plus no stress.
I once upon a time is happy about wearing wrist watches in particular after my father gifted us with my brothers those automatic Seiko watches, however mine was different compared to my brothers and it looks cheaper compared to theirs.
It is fashionable to wear wrist watches but in my state of physical malformation, no amount of accessory will spruce up my more terrible looks than Quasimodo, after all my arms and wrist are thin enough to put those wristwatches on like the Smartwatches that I see online that some people wear to monitor things like their pulse, heartbeat, even their blood oxygen levels, calls, and music too.
Also, after our clock in the house went bust we never replaced it because nobody anymore wants to buy what was once a nice addition to the living room, it chimes every hour and I can still hear it in my memories.
Now our need to know the time is replaced mainly by looking at everyone's Smartphones, if you would ask someone if they got the time, they would draw out their Smartphones from their pockets and refer from it simply because Smartphones are now a right and need to have because its importance to our modern lives because it gives us a lot of benefits like making things easier for us to do and now we can even earn money with its use not to mention communicating to friends and loved ones face to face in real time which in the late 90's were a thing that many people are not thinking about but now a reality.
It's nice to know that you have your own natural clock Miss @wakeupkitty and it really will help you about your daily routines and for my situation, I just have all the time in the world for what I want to do but it is much shorter compared to the existence of others, well God will be the one that will tell me, "it's time, your time is up!"
Thank you for your time @Miss @wakeupkitty
I do appreciate you. 😀👍

I remember my first watch and also I was not able to tell the time. It wasn't a digital but one you had to wind up which I did before I went to sleep. I still know what it look like and it was a present of my grandparents. Back then it was unique not many had one.
I don't wear a watch for at least 30 years, perhaps 40? And with me, many people no longer have one. It's no longer precious or something special.
I once read that people who wear a wrist watch check the time every few minutes and if you ask them right after they can rarely tell you what time it is. So wearing one means you automatically start checking the time - what a waste of time - and live a more hectic life. That article made me think and I felt that way so I took of the thing and went on living without. It works till today. I rarely check the time and I don't even look at the clock during the day. It gave me more peace of mind which is good for me because I have still issues with time - time set by some humans.
If I have to be there or travel I am always in time so I have a certain clock build in that warns me to wake up or can be that I also know by the things I do how much time has passed?
There's no longer a clock at the wall ticking the minutes, hours either although the sound of it gives me a feeling of coziness and home.
If it comes to the time you have.. I assume you have to show up in time for dialyze or doesn't it mater if you arrive 1 hour later or earlier?
For the rest I would say time is time and how we fill it is up to us. There's no need to compare what you do with others because those others are not in your situation, they do not deal with what you have to deal with. We all have our own journey, lessons to learn and some can do it in a short time others need 5 life times and still didn't learn anything.
That's how I see it (and why some people always deal with the same issues).
The smartphones are forced on to us by the government same to the elderly. Without we have no access to governmental sites/information. I find it rediculous since at the same time the personal waste is measured and noted. But hey they have a good excuse to chip people so there's no need to carry the phone along (not that I do that, I only did last Sunday as I wanted to take a photo of copper and glass for the ** photochain** comment contest of the Italian community. Let me know if you like to join it as well. It's nice to see some creativity and if the item cannot be found it's also fine if you write down a word or take a photo of a magazine.
I noticed you are very active in taking photos. Super.
A happy day, dear friend.
