Generating an effective learning, leads the educator to evaluate the existing possibilities, in order to manage in the students a significant value of each lived experience.

Direct experiences reinforce learning and give way to new ones that will be of benefit in their daily activities, because once they acquire valuable knowledge, they can never forget it.

These experiences can certainly be done in different places, as long as they lead to learning and even, this becomes a developer and stimulator of skills.


Direct experience with the baby care project.

The baby care project is based on students from childhood acquire a sense of responsibility and awareness.

Through activities, they will understand what it means to have a child, since they will act as representatives in a real way to care for them.

To be part of a project of this nature, is to have a commitment. The educator imparts the necessary knowledge that students must know to avoid making mistakes that bring unwanted consequences to their lives. Likewise, what they have learned in basic care concepts for babies can be put into practice at home and be able to help when the help of the children is needed.

This experience will allow in the future, to work as caregivers of babies and serve in some way in society. What is learned in the classes is put into practice in real life.


Objectives of direct experience.

  • Achieve an understanding of the essential care that a baby should have.
  • May love be generated by the little ones.
  • Let it be known that babies should receive special care.
  • Achieve the necessary maturity.
  • Understanding as an individual, that life is not a game.

The educator as mediator in the learning activity.

Effectively, the educator plans the activity so that it is clearly understood, that everything has a why?, and that it is necessary to be responsible.

We want students to develop in an environment where they can fend for themselves, while they play, they learn from the basic attention that will help them in their development and critical thinking, since this is a learning that will remain in their memories.

The educator becomes in this stage of learning an example to follow, since children are like "absorbent sponges of information", and imitate the good and the bad that is observed.


Learning and fun activities with the project, baby care.

This is an activity that involves children, and has no taboo. Learning is aimed at all genders, since the same responsibilities fall on both sides.

It is necessary to understand that not only the responsibilities are of the adults, all acquire responsibilities in some way, the learning through activities is an aid for the development of each student.

Activities:

Room for baby care. Experimenting without adequate space for that purpose would not be stimulating and enriching for learning. For this reason, all the implements must be available so that fun and the acquisition of knowledge have a successful outcome.

Students will visualize the environment, they will be informed that it is essential that they follow the instructions of the educator or instructor so that they can execute the steps correctly and in this way understand the meaning of responsibility.


Baby hygiene. It will be explained that in the same way that the educator and they as students maintain proper hygiene, babies should receive this care so that they remain impeccable. Babies are fragile and small, and they do not have the capacity to fend for themselves.

Children will learn to be useful and to use hygiene in them. Learning that it is necessary that all its parts should be washed, leaving no residue of dirt.


Body care. Normally, after taking a shower, we apply creams, lotions or powders to protect the skin. On this occasion they will be applied to the bodies of the babies and this same action, the children will be able to put it into practice in their daily hygiene.

Students will be able to observe the body parts and the changes that are generated as they are in the growth stage. It is a useful activity that provides essential knowledge.


Clothes to be placed on babies. It will be taught to properly place babies' clothes to cover all their parts. This will increase awareness of the proper use of clothing that should be worn on infants and children of a more advanced age.

Students will understand that having a baby implies one of the greatest responsibilities and that they must act in the best way, complying with all the procedures involved, avoiding mistakes, although it is necessary to explain that making mistakes is part of the human being.


Teaching to hold babies in arms. One of the most beautiful parts of baby care is when you can hold them in your arms, to: sleep, caress them and give them love. From there, they receive the necessary attention that was explained above.

Children can experience, through play, a true experience of previous care that will be useful in their personal development.

The educator will teach how to hold all parts of the body with great delicacy, because in this way it is done in real life.


Feeding babies. This activity is extremely fun, and the care of the babies serves to reflect on the correct actions that should be taken in themselves.

The educator will teach the children that the milk should be kept at the correct temperature so that it can be ingested, water is essential, since the body needs it. They will learn the correct positions so that they can eat and not drown. Juices and solid foods are ingested when they are old enough.


Activities to do in the classroom, when the direct experience ends.

It is recommended that the educator share with the students the different points of view on how he made them feel, be part of the direct experience. And so it can be corroborated that it has been rewarding and that the proposed objectives have been achieved.

Activities:

Students will be asked to form groups and make a presentation explaining the details of the care that should be given to the babies. In addition to the responsibility that is had in a personal way, that is, a self-evaluation of the experience.


Direct experiences can be done in the open air or in spaces created to generate learning. This experience, in particular, can be carried out, like a classroom project, in which all the learning processes that will be of help for the students participate. There are places outside the school that have this incredible method to acquire learning, generate awareness and responsibility.

The educator is constantly searching to impart new learning to the students, and that is the goal, never to stop.
