The Diary Game [09/03/2025] // Return from Village Farm back to Town
Steem greetings @everyone and welcome to my blog for another session of my lifestyle content. It was Sunday and a day of worship as usual for Christians but I was not able to make it to church. I thought I was going to leave the village early enough to catch up with church service time in town.
The previous night, I had arranged all I needed to travel with and as I said in my previous write-up, the state of the roads in the village is bad. It was difficult to get a car so mostly bikes are running on the road. I stood at the roadside from 6:00 AM till around 8:00 AM when I got a bike to drop me at the tollgate.
From the tollgate, I boarded a taxi to town and there was no interruption on the way despite several police checkups. We were surprised and even the driver was surprised what happened that no police control point stopped him to check the car.
I arrived in town so tired, weak and dusty due to the bad state of the village road. I dropped off everything I came back with and sat outdoors for a while thinking of what to prepare for my kids' breakfast. I noticed that for the past two days I was not around they did not feed well. They were looking pale and I was not happy.
I immediately entered the kitchen to prepare my kids' breakfast. I peeled some of the potatoes and sliced them to fry potato chips. This is one of my kids’ favourite breakfasts.
I proceeded to fry some eggs to be eaten with the potato chips. I cracked my eggs, sliced in some fresh tomatoes and added a bit of seasoning and salt to taste. I mixed well and fry and my kids' breakfast was served and I properly fed them.
I noticed some of my kids’ snacks and hot chocolate were finished and I had to rush to the market to buy them. The next day is lockdown day and stores will not be open I could not do otherwise despite the tiredness in me.
When I bought the things upon returning home, I saw a woman with a bag of onions selling on the street around my neighbourhood. I stopped by to purchase a bucket of onions. It seems this is the onion season now and the price was good.
I came back home and went to the bathroom to shower because the weather was hot and I was sweating. While in the bath I noticed my facial care products will not last me till Tuesday after the Monday lockdown. I contacted my supplier to ensure he sent them to me. The ones I normally used were not available and he advised me I should take tea tree products, unlike the cuticura products I normally used.
After bathing, I rested for several hours until the evening hours when I joined my husband to watch the Arsenal versus Manchester United premier league game at Old Trafford. After watching the 90-minute drama of the game, I decided to go to bed early enough to get rest as I was feeling body pains and nerves issues. My husband gave me some painkillers to drink and I called it a day. Until my next diary session guys, happy new week for us all and new energy to face our daily life challenges ✌️🫶.

And you sincerely wished you could not go to church. Driving is very difficult as the roads in your area are not that good. Anyway you get over the hurdle and move forward. Good luck

I've been looking for good facial products that works for me same as you crave. If this works for you I'll join you. I didn't know you love watching matches. Anyways, that's all good. Your day did go well especially the food you sampled. It's my favourite when I'm in school
The struggle for facial products is real 😆😆. I used Cuticura products before from South Africa and they work so perfectly. They got finished and my supplier does not have them in stock. I had to go with the tea tree products. I hope they work well.
