Welcome to New Book Wednesday!!! Ready to take a gander at all of the exciting nerdy nonsense making its way to comic shop racks this week??? I’m talking about kick ass Comics and Toys!!! I’m your host @blewitt, and I thank you for joining me on this virtual window shopping experience!!!

Let’s jump right into it. It’s an large week of Marvel & Indy titles with tons of goodies in between!!!

Marvel Comics does a nice tribute for the main man himself...Stan Lee. Through most of the titles, there is a little Stan Lee Memorial. Each book’s first page is black and the next, a beautiful rendition of Stan by Phil Noto. Expect these to sell well. Not sure how they will perform down the road but I think plenty will be gobbled up for personal collections. Especially on titles he personally worked on like Amazing Spider-Man.

Speaking of ASM, number #12 is out this week and has a really sweet FF villains cover featuring Galactus by Granov. A purdy ass looking Uncanny X-Men variant by J Scott Campbell should also do well. That one is also part of the Conan variants. Punisher, Spidergeddon, Captain America, and Weapon H round out a huge week of titles for the house of ideas.

DC has a slightly small week but some notables are Batman, Harley Quinn, Aquaman, Justice League, & Nightwing. A really pretty Alex Garner variant for Teen Titans #25 that fratures a cool image of Lobo’s daughter, Crush. Also...pick up the Catwoman #6 variant as it’s a sweet and festive image by the master, Artgerm.

Like Marvel, there are tons of Indy books this week as well. Kirkman’s Outcast hits the shelves. One day I’ll give this series a read. I enjoyed the first season on Cinemax and I’m waiting to check the second one out...even though the stupid network cancelled it. 😞

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Over the Garden Wall, Power Rangers, Tank Girl, and Zorro are some books waiting to be added to your stack. Image has a new series called Hardcore starting up as well that I might peep. Also there are 3 different Spawn variants for issue #292 so enjoy!!!

For the miscellaneous nonsense, it’s a heavy Funko Pop week. From Fantastic Beasts, to Friends, and then some holiday Star Wars...there’s something for everyone. Sprinkle in a few Pop Pez dispensers and call it a day. The usual Dragonball Z figures grace us with their presence. A sweet Monsters Inc. Nendoroid will be gone instantly to my Disney Nendoroid guy. He comes in like clockwork for these. Lastly I’ll mention several new Monogram 3D keychains which make great stocking stuffers!!! Check it all out below!!!
