"A Child, A Million Smiles"😊: Sustainable Feeding Program For School Children In Nigeria. "Week-4"
I'm thrilled to share our progress on the Sustainable Feeding Program for school children in Nigeria, as we successfully executed Week 4 with the guidance of Almighty God. This week, our team visited two schools: FEAR GOD INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS and DIVINE WISDOM INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS, both located at Ifa Atai Etoi, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. In this report, I'll provide a detailed account of our activities, accompanied by photographs and a video. Let's dive into the highlights of our Week 4 outreach☺️

Yesterday, being Friday, was the day we had scheduled to visit the two schools as part of our charity outreach. With this in mind, I made sure to complete my morning chores and get ready to head to Ma'am ngoenyi's house by 10:00 a.m., our designated departure time. To ensure I arrived promptly, I opted for the most direct and efficient route to her house, which took me through the dry swamp area just in front of my residence.

As I walked along the street to Ma'am ngoenyi's house, I encountered a familiar face, @chichigirl, a member of our team, on top of a motorcycle. She graciously offered me a ride and asked for my assistance in directing the cyclist, as she couldn't quite recall the route to Ma'am ngoenyi's residence. Upon arriving, we waited for a few minutes, allowing the rest of the team to assemble before we proceeded together.
Prior to our visit to the both Schools, we made inquiries with the school management regarding the possibility of bringing cooked food for the pupils. We were pleased to receive their approval, which enabled us to proceed with our plans.

In preparation for our Week 4 outreach, we carefully selected a nutritious and appealing menu that would delight the children. Our chosen dishes consisted of fried rice, chicken, and cucumber, all of which were expertly prepared to ensure a satisfying and healthy meal.

Our first stop was FEARGOD INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS, a newly established institution that resumed operations just last term. Despite its recent inception, we were delighted to see nearly 50 enthusiastic pupils eager to learn. True to our mission, we swiftly distributed food to every child, spreading joy and warmth without discrimination. The smiles on their faces were a testament to the impact of our charity endeavor.

As I watched the children receive their meals, I couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of joy. Though I wasn't the one collecting or eating the food, witnessing the happiness it brought to the children was incredibly fulfilling. Their faces lit up with radiant smiles, and their eyes sparkled with delight. It was heartwarming to see them savoring their meals with such enthusiasm. For those who struggled to hold their takeaway containers, we lent a helping hand, escorting them to their classrooms so they could enjoy their meals comfortably.
Our mission to spread joy didn't stop at the children, we also extended our kindness to the hardworking teachers. These dedicated educators work tirelessly to nurture the young minds, and it was our pleasure to show appreciation for their efforts. By sharing smiles and warmth with both the children and teachers, we created a ripple effect of happiness that resonated throughout the school.

After bidding farewell to the delighted children and teachers at FEAR GOD INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS, we proceeded to our next destination, DIVINE WISDOM INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS. This institution was also part of our outreach program, and we were eager to spread joy to its students. Upon arrival, we were greeted by approximately 30 enthusiastic pupils, all eager to learn from their dedicated teachers. To bring smiles to their faces, we gathered them together and distributed their meals. The sight of their beaming faces, filled with uncontrollable joy, was truly heartwarming.
In a world where genuine smiles can be hard to come by, witnessing the pure happiness of these children was a treasure. We also extended our kindness to the teachers, who were equally thrilled to have us visit. Before departing, some of our team members took a group photo with the happy children, who proudly held their rice takeaway containers.

This poignant moment captured the essence of our outreach program, spreading love, kindness, and smiles to those who need it most. As we prepared to leave, the children and teachers expressed their heartfelt gratitude, thanking us profusely for our kindness. As we departed, we bid a fond farewell to the beaming children and their appreciative teachers. Before concluding our day, we paid a visit to ROYAL PRESTIGE ACADEMY to discuss and seek approval for our sustainable feeding program. We met with the principal and directors to outline our initiative and its benefits. Ma'am Ngoenyi effectively communicated our objectives, both verbally and in writing, leaving behind a formal note detailing our mission and the importance of approving our program.
We now await their approval, which we anticipate receiving soon. Once granted, ROYAL PRESTIGE ACADEMY will be our next destination, where we will implement our feeding program and continue spreading joy and support to those in need. I extend my deepest gratitude to God Almighty for His unwavering guidance and blessings, which have ensured the success of our outreach program. I humbly pray for His continued support and provision.
